Install steps

First time installing an APK?

Sideloading an Android app takes a few extra taps the first time. After that, future updates install in seconds.

1. Tap Download APK above

Your browser will warn that APK files can harm your device — this is the standard Android warning for any file installed outside the Play Store. Tap Download anyway.

2. Open the file

Find the APK in your Downloads folder (or tap the download notification). Android will ask if you trust apps from this source.

3. Allow install from this source

If prompted, enable installs from your browser in Settings → Apps → your browser → Install unknown apps. Then return to the APK and tap Install.

4. Play Protect warning

On first install you'll see a Google Play Protect screen. This is normal for sideloaded apps — tap More details, then Install anyway.

5. Open Ekaha and sign in

Use the account you created at ekahaph.com. If you don't have one yet, you can create one inside the app.
